“Gliu vient” – Regolamento per la partecipazione al festival multidisciplinare d’arte San Pietro Infine 25 ,26, 27 agosto 2017 (scroll down for the English version)

Finalità

E’ aperta la call for artists per la partecipazione al festival multidisciplinare d’arte, dal titolo Gliu Vient, organizzato dalle associazioni culturali L’Arte della Terra, Lost in Babylon e Pentacromo in collaborazione con Tantestorie.it.

Il festival d’arte Gliu Vient, dedicato alla promozione dell’arte e alla riscoperta della bellezza del territorio locale, si terrà nel Parco della Memoria storica di San Pietro Infine (CE) nei giorni 25, 26, 27 agosto 2017.

Il vento, elemento quasi costante di questa zona, e il suo movimento, la sua forza, la sua libertà saranno celebrati dalle varie arti.

La call si rivolge ad artisti visuali italiani e stranieri (quali pittori, scultori, ceramisti e fotografi, ecc.) e prevede la partecipazione di 120 opere (dipinti, sculture, installazioni, fotografie, collage, ecc.) per la realizzazione di un evento espositivo che si snoderà lungo l’intera area del festival nei giorni sopramenzionati.

Essa, inoltre, contempla anche una sezione dedicata alla poesia alla quale possono partecipare tutti, anche autori stranieri.

Il festival ha le richieste di patrocinio del comune di San Pietro Infine, della Fondazione Parco della Memoria, della Comunità Montana Monte Santa Croce e della Regione Campania.

N.B. Nella fase d’iscrizione on line si richiedono l’invio delle copie singole delle poesie in formato word e SOLO LE FOTO delle opere (dipinti, fotografie, ceramiche, installazioni, ecc.) e non l’invio fisico delle stesse.

Requisiti delle opere

Le opere avranno come tema il vento e potranno essere realizzate con qualunque stile e tecnica. In particolare: quelle pittoriche potranno essere realizzate su qualsiasi supporto, non dovranno superare le dimensioni di cm 100×100 e dovranno essere prive di cornici; per le sculture e per le installazioni di grandi dimensioni contattare telefonicamente o tramite mail la segreteria del festival prima di inviare le foto.

Sono accettate fino a 02 (due) opere per ogni artista. Tuttavia, nel caso di foto, il limite diventa 03 (tre).

Alla chiusura del termine d’iscrizione agli Artisti partecipanti sarà richiesto di inviare (tramite corriere o posta o personalmente) presso l’indirizzo stabilito dagli organizzatori (sede che sarà comunicata tempestivamente sulla pagina Facebook e/o tramite email), le opere per la realizzazione dell’evento espositivo dei giorni 25, 26, 27 agosto.

Le spese di trasporto per l’invio e il ritiro delle opere sono a carico dei partecipanti.

Per quanto riguarda la poesia, gli Autori dovranno inviare un elaborato inedito, sul tema del vento, che non dovrà superare i 30 versi/righe ciascuna. Gli elaborati non saranno restituiti. Tra tutte le poesie selezionate, due saranno pubblicate su stele di ceramica che saranno adagiate sulle pareti di alcuni edifici del nuovo paese di San Pietro Infine.

La partecipazione al festival è gratuita e avviene inviando una mail al seguente indirizzo, artfestival.gliuvient@gmail.com (con la dicitura “Partecipazione al Festival Gliu Vient”) contenente la seguente scheda compilata in ogni sua parte e una foto jpg (max 1 MB) di ogni opera iscritta (per le arti visuali) o un file.doc (per le poesie).

Fasi e scadenze

• 15 LUGLIO 2017: termine delle iscrizioni per i partecipanti e invio delle poesie e foto delle opere.
• 16 LUGLIO-10 AGOSTO 2017: invio opere per allestimento della mostra.
• 28 AGOSTO – 2 SETTEMBRE 2017: ritiro opere degli artisti visuali.

Responsabilità

L’organizzazione del Festival, pur assicurando la massima cura e custodia delle opere pervenute per la realizzazione della mostra espositiva, declina ogni responsabilità per eventuali furti, incendi o danni di qualsiasi natura, alle opere o persone, che possono verificarsi durante tutte le fasi della manifestazione. Ogni eventuale richiesta di assicurazione va sottoscritta per proprio conto dall’Artista stesso e comunicata agli organizzatori.

Dopo la consegna le opere non potranno essere ritirate per tutto il periodo dell’esposizione. Il ritiro potrà avvenire al temine della manifestazione non oltre i cinque giorni.

Consenso

L’invio delle opere e degli elaborati costituisce implicitamente per gli organizzatori del concorso, autorizzazione alla loro riproduzione, esposizione, pubblicazione e comunicazione al pubblico in qualunque modo e senza eccezione.

Gli organizzatori, nel pieno rispetto dei diritti morali dell’autore, eserciterà tali diritti per tutte le attività istituzionali di comunicazione riguardante la manifestazione.

L’adesione al festival autorizza il trattamento dei dati personali da parte dell’organizzazione nel rispetto della normativa vigente (DLGS 196/2003).
Gli organizzatori si riservano, infine, la possibilità di decidere su tutto quanto non è espressamente affermato in questo documento.

La partecipazione al festival sottintende la presa visione e l’accettazione integrale ed incondizionata delle norme contenute nel presente Regolamento.

Gliu Vient Art Festival Rules

Goal

There is an open call for artists for participation in the multidisciplinary Art Festival, entitled Gliu Vient. The event is organized by the following cultural associations: L’Arte della Terra, Lost in Babylon and Pentacromo in collaboration with Tantestorie.it.

Gliu Vient Art Festival is dedicated to the promotion of the Art and the rediscovery of the beauty of the territory. It will take place in the Parco della Memoria storica of San Pietro Infine, Caserta (Italy) on August 25, 26, 27 2017.

The protagonist will be the Wind which blows almost constantly in this area. It will be celebrate through the various visual arts (painting, sculpture, ceramics, installations, and figurative arts (live performances of theater, reading performances of poems, live music, etc.) as well as through the realization of workshops for children.

The call is aimed at Italian and foreign visual artists (such as painters, sculptors, ceramists and photographers, etc.). It involves the participation of 120 works (paintings, sculptures, installations, photographs, collages, etc.) in the realization of an exhibition that will take place across the entire area of the festival during those days.

It also includes a poem section dedicated to all authors, even to foreign authors.

The Festival has the request of the patronage of the following: Comune di San Pietro Infine, Regione Campania, Comunità Montana Monte Santa Croce, Fondazione Parco della Memoria storica..
Please note that in the online registration phase, are requested single copies of the poems in word format and ONLY THE PHOTOS of the works (paintings, photographs, ceramics, installations, etc.). After the deadline the works will be sent to the address that will be comunicated promptly by the organization on the facebook page of the event and by mail or phone.

Art Works Requirements

The Wind will be the theme of the works . They can be realized with technical and stylistic freedom on any support and without a frame. Maximum size allowed is 100 x100 cm. Regarding sculptures and installations of great dimensions, please contact the secretary of the Festival by phone or mail before sending photos. Each artist can partecipate in the festival with a maximum of two works. The limit becomes three in the case of photographic works.

The Artists will be asked to deliver their works (by courier, post or physical delivery) to the address set by the organization of the Festival after the deadline of the call. The address will be comunicated promptly on the facebook page of the event and by mail or phone.The shipping charges, for the delivery and the return of the works, are at the expense of the artists themselves.

Concerning poetry, Authors will have to submit an unpublished work on the theme of the Wind, which must not exceed 30 lines each.

The work will not be returned. Among all the poems selected, two will be published on ceramic steles. Ceramic steles will be hang on the walls of some of the new village buildings of San Pietro Infine.

How to apply

Participation in the festival is free. Artists can apply sending an e-mail to the following address: artfestival.gliuvient@gmail.com with the words “Partecipazione al Festival Gliu Vient”.

It has to contain the following application form duly compiled and a poem in word format (for poetry) or a photo of each work (max two) in jpg format -max 1 MB- (for the Visual Arts)..

Step and deadlines

• 15 JULY 2017: deadline for registration by sending the application form and a poem in word format (for poets) or photos of the works ( for visual artists) .
• 16 JULY – 10 AGUST 2017: days in which the artists‘works are to be delivered to the exhibition area of San Pietro Infine. The address will be comunicated promptly by the organization on the facebook page of the event and by mail or phone.
• 28 AGUST – 2 SEPTEMBER: withdrawal of the visual artists’works.

Responsibilities

The organizers will not be liable for any loss or damage, however caused, either in transit to and from the exhibition, or during any period of storage (including at the depot), packing or unpacking, installation, or in any period in which the work may be on their premises or in their keeping. The organization, although assuring the best care and conservation for the submitted works declines any responsibility for theft, fire or any damages to the artworks or people that could occur during all the stages of the event. Any insurance request is to be made by the artists themselves and communicated to the organizers.
After delivery, the work cannot be withdrawn during the whole period of exhibition/exposure. The withdrawal will take place at the end of the of the Festival and no later than five days after.

Agreements

Each Artist gives to the organization, without any compensation, the rights of reproduction, exhibition, publication and communication to the public, in any manner and without exception, for their own works participating in the festival. The organization, while fully respecting the moral rights of authorship, will exercise these rights for all institutional activities of communication concerning the competition. The organization reserves the right to decide upon what is not expressly stated in this document. Each and every participant explicitly authorizes the organization to handle his personal data in accordance with Italian law ( 196/2003 ) The acceptance to participate in the competition shall entail the full and unconditional adhesion and acceptance of these Regulations.
